> For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
> - Ephesians, Chapter 06, Verse 12

This morning I was listening to a preacher who was talking about [one of my favorite verses](https://www.kingjamesbibleonline.org/Ephesians-06-12/). He joked that the punctuation was incorrect and that many [Christians do not wrestle, period](https://youtube.com/clip/UgkxkD0YW2AQoam9lLUqocWHLteLagH5Gen6?si=W_bYx8XfafasOOJJ).

It's not just the Christians, but all of us. In this modern time, we have it so easy in comparison to our ancestors. We are "out of shape" and because of that we cannot wrestle—so the *rulers of darkness* have taken over.

"Wrestling is one of the most intense forms of conflict between two people". I really liked this phrasing because it tells of the endurance and strength that is required of us. It also keys into what we are capable of.

There was [another lecture](https://youtube.com/clip/UgkxK8KBMcBuAYlQTZkbiXtL_mgG1MHp-ukf?si=WBKQBV2p7NWUlegQ) I watched recently that was discussing the pyramids and how modern minds quickly want to say that aliens built them. When we are all connected to the source, or God, we are immensely powerful and can build something as spectacular as the pyramids. This is why we are pit against each other.

Don't stop wrestling, and love each other.
